We switched and haven't looked back. The Lavazza pod is consistently very rich and creamy with great flavor (and aroma). They have an excellent shelf life (it takes us about 3 mos to go though 150). My only fear is that I will run out and have to buy more of the Starbuck's brand to hold us over - or (shudder) go back to the mess and inconvienience of grinding beans.
these pods have changed my life. they are so easy to use in my francis francis machine that i now make espresso every day instead of just on the weekends. i have never been able to get such consistent results or crema with beans i ground myself. i highly recommend them
